Are you sure that the diesel at Sam's club is only $2.50 and that the regular and premium price is the same?

Civil discussion is always welcome. I'm glad for your honest response. I sure most of us knew about the China N. Korea' connection the same way Russia backed China to fight in Korea back in 52. " Brought down a peg is a hope but it is hard ro wish the people loaning you and keeping currency afloat to go down, it is too close a connection and I 'm sure they plan on dumping it sometime.

UncleCurt, I didn't reply to make you feel wrong or stupid, sorry. I just get tired of the media for not reporting the whole truth or distorting figures that I took it out on you. Again, sorry. I am one whom admits when they are wrong (albeit it has to be proven to me, ha ha) and I appreciate it when others do the same. Thanks for the discussion.

Your right I should have written better, yes it was a contract. Wow, I feel real stupid right now. I was wrong , I apologize for that and getting feathers ruffled at you. I should have thought more clearly. Thanks for your input and civil discussion. That is hard to find sometimes on these forums. Ironically I usually pride myself on holding others accountable, well not at this moment. Keep up the good work and Have Great day!

"You use statistics without providing all the facts. To me, that is intentionally misleading." What instance are you speaking about? What missing facts are these? Do you want an article citation? I don't remember internationally misleading anyone. I that is one heck of an accusation and the first I've heard. Please provide the time and place. If I was wrong , I apologize but otherwise cite a specific instance.

papagreg, Maybe American companies were not chosen since they seem to be expanding overseas. American solar or renewable energy companies are trying to expand overseas, while foreign companies expand here. Example Solar thermal company eSolar expands in Africa, The Pasadena, California-based company or First Solar Inc said on Tuesday it plans to build the world's largest solar plant in China in the first major foray by a U.S. company into the Asian nation's fast growing alternative energy sector. http://www.reuters.com/article/GCA-GreenBusiness/idUSTRE5874XC20090908

I was just noting someone payed back their share, probably won't see auto industry pay back is what our government told us. I thought it was 2 trillion at the rate of spending and planned spending was. I am not defending your government since our Canadian Conservative government followed the bailout root since both U.S. administrations, which many Canadians including myself don't approve of. Rewarding stupidity and greed and not letting companies fall for it is not my idea or any sane persons idea of good management.

I don't like Goldman Sachs but they did paid back its debt of 10 billion with interest to free it up from executive bonus and compensation regulation. http://www.npr.org/blogs/money/2009/07/goldman_gets_out.html
