We need to invest in wind power and solar power instead of the Obamanation of carbon footprints.

will have to see where all of this is going to lead us. We should have been promoting wind power years ago.

A whole lot of Chinese supervisors feel the same way. They put out enough pollution to make Americas miniscule. Comrade obama wants to tax America out of existence with his "Fees". There really is somewhat of a disparity because if China had a king comrade obama would bow to him also and tell him what a good job they are doing. I never thought that China would have a better deal the Americans.

China is going through an early stage of capitalism. The US had its robber barons a century ago, the Chinese have their multimillionaires wanting to make their money anyway they can: pollute, poison, have no safety standards for their workers, let thousands die in the mines, let workers suffer in sweatshops, anything to get more US dollars. Baby food or dog food. Sell any thing and every thing. Souls are for sale also.

"Coal power has been driving the stunning, seven plus percent a year growth in China’s economy. It’s long been said said that China was adding one new coal power plant per week to its grid. But the real news is worse: China is completing two new coal plants per week." - WIRED ONLINE: China’s 2030 CO2 Emissions Could Equal the Entire World’s Today.
Another "feel-good" article by the NYT. Clean up one plant, but during the same period, hundreds of others are built. At least we don't have to shut down businesses like China did during the Olympics or have the Asian Brown Cloud like India.

Everything that needs to be said is in the last sentence, "He didn't want to dent the plants profits" That seems to be the bottom line for everyone.

China needed to clean up their act. Look at how bad it was during the 2008 Olympics. The US is nowhere near as bad and not as bad as the Obama administration and his climate control freaks make it out to be.
